Galoshes for Grandma
Galoshes for Grandma is based on a true story about my grandma during the infamous Armistice Day blizzard of 1940.
Grandma needs new galoshes in a hurry! It’s storming outside and she’ll get wet feet. Ruthie, eager for her birthday party later in the day, rides with her daddy and grandma to the store. They buy Grandma new galoshes, but at a great cost, for the snow storm hinders their travel. Will Ruthie’s friends make it to her party? Will she and Daddy and Grandma make it home safely? Or will they be stranded like so many others?

The Singing Forest
In the Boreal (northern) forest, Mama and Baby Bear struggle to find a new home after theirs is destroyed by chainsaw crews that cut every tree down in their area. During their search, the bears face many obstacles until the story comes to a surprising conclusion.
