I am available to speak on a variety of topics. I have spoken at libraries, museums, church events, Christian Women luncheons, senior citizen gatherings, and other groups. My teaching experience includes Sunday school classes, quilting groups, 4-H gatherings, and mentoring home schooled adolescent girls in creative writing.

Overcoming the Storms (williwaws) in Your Life
Learn how to go through the life-storms you’re facing, using biblical principles. I use the word williwaw as a metaphor of life, believing we all face—and are shaped by—adversities.
Writing Your Life Stories
My 3- or 4-hour workshops will teach you how to leave a rich legacy of your life through writing about your life experiences. This is a fun, hands-on way to begin connecting your past to the future of your children and grandchildren.

Join me on my journey along the road to writing discovery as I share my experience of writing Williwaw Winds and other stories.

I draw on my numerous travels to Alaska to share how the North Star State has impacted my writing.
